Welcome to Season 7, Moneymaker 💖

Healing and building have been happening in the same breath for me, and that tension is the heartbeat of Woman-Owned Wallet right now.

After my endometriosis excision surgery, I’ve been moving through a slower, more intentional version of recovery. My body has been asking for regulation, for rest, for attention to the inflammation and patterns it’s been holding for years. Living with an autoimmune and inflammatory condition that affects 1 in 10 women has opened up a deeper awareness of how everything connects, my gut, my focus, my joints, my energy, my emotions.

I’m learning how to listen to my body in real time. I’m learning how to release tension instead of pushing through it. I’m learning that my health, my nervous system, and my relationship with money all move together. Choosing myself has become a daily practice, one that asks for presence and honesty.

At the same time, I stepped into a massive creative expansion with filming the pilot for Woman-Owned Wallet: The Show.

I brought a vision to life. I moved through the layers of production, post-production, communication, and collaboration. I stayed present through uncertainty leading up to the premiere. I showed up for the project, for the people involved, and for myself.

I led through it.

I stayed connected to my body while making decisions. I honored my voice inside a collaborative process. I allowed the experience to shape me as a founder, a creator, and a leader.

This is the kind of leadership I’m building, grounded, responsive, and rooted in self-trust.

Zooming out, this is the mission that continues to guide me.

At Woman-Owned Wallet, I build pathways for people to invest in their communities through everyday spending. I see women as community investors, moving money into education, healthcare, families, and future opportunities. Every purchase becomes part of a larger ecosystem of support.

That vision comes to life through the Woman-Owned Wallet Tour, where you can experience a city by intentionally visiting women-owned cafes, boutiques, salons, and makers. It starts here in Louisville and continues to grow outward. It’s a way to move through the world with intention and connection.

I also brought a new tool into that ecosystem through Penny the Piggy Bank. She helps kids understand saving, goal setting, and progress in a way that feels approachable and engaging. I care deeply about shaping money conversations early, so they feel empowering from the start.

And in this same season, I made the decision to close my storefront.

That experience held a full spectrum of emotion. It asked me to process years of dedication, responsibility, and care. It brought clarity around what I want my life and business to feel like moving forward. It showed me the real impact of external pressures like construction timelines, parking changes, and rising operational costs.

I made a decision that supports my alignment.

Woman-Owned Wallet continues to grow through online platforms, pop-ups, wholesale partnerships, and content. It continues to expand into conversations around women’s health and financial wellness. It continues to evolve in a way that supports both the mission and my well-being.

This is what I’m building now.

A business that moves with me.
A mission that supports communities.
A life that honors alignment.
