unwind body works is a wellness company that creates innovative self-care tools designed to help people take control of their physical and mental pain relief. As the creator of the (un)Block and the unwind method, unwind body works offers a revolutionary approach to releasing stored tension in the body. The (un)Block is described as "the evolution of the sports massage ball," while the unwind method teaches users how to use four (un)Blocks simultaneously for maximum tension relief. The company was founded by Melanie Love in 2024 and is based in Louisville, KY.

Our mission is to give people agency through tools and knowledge to be able to take care of more of their physical and mental pain than they think is possible. Founded after Melanie Love's own health journey with concussions in 2017, unwind body works emerged from the need to provide effective self-care solutions that people can use between healthcare appointments.
