The Creative Spot is a welcoming creative studio located inside the Mellwood Art Center in Louisville, Kentucky, founded in 2026 by Brittney Knight. More than an art studio, it’s a place to slow down, make something with your hands, and reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
Created for women, moms, families, kids, adults, and small groups alike, The Creative Spot offers thoughtful, hands-on experiences designed to help people step away from the busyness of everyday life and simply be present. From ceramic painting and open studio time to birthday celebrations, private gatherings, and meaningful “Kid & Me” experiences, every offering is centered around creativity, connection, and slowing down.
