about us

Me University is the narrative art practice of Abby Kamen, a Louisville-based author and artist creating spaces for healing, reflection, and transformation. Since 2015, Abby has used her work to invite individuals and communities into deeper conversations around generational trauma, care, and the systems that shape our lives.

Through community-based events, gallery shows, and her written work, Abby’s practice centers on the power of conversation as a tool for change. Each experience is designed to spark curiosity, expand our understanding of community, and support the ongoing work of dismantling harmful patterns and hierarchical systems.

This is work that honors complexity. It acknowledges that healing is not linear, and that both personal and collective transformation require presence, honesty, and care.
